Press play on the FilePlayer's property editor to start the sound playing. (If you can't hear any sound, check that the Enable Audio button is down.)
Go into the contraptions list under Effects and select SDelay. Drag it onto the Patcher Pane.
Insert the SDelay contraption into the patch by dragging it over the outputs of the FilePlayer.
Double click the SDelay to open its properties editor and tweak some parameters. (If you're not sure what some of these parameter settings do, click the question mark button at the top of the editor to display the contraption's help page.)
Double click the SoundOut contraption in the Patcher Pane to open up the SoundOut properties editor. Click the Select Sound File button to create a new sound file for AudioMulch to write the new sound to. You could call it "chimes delayed.wav".
Press the red Record button on the SoundOut contraption to start recording the live output of the patch.
Press the Stop button on the SoundOut.
To listen to the recorded sound file, press the Play button on the SoundOut. (You may want to press the Stop button on the FilePlayer before you do this.)
