I think this might be rare but I found a case in reaktor where a parameter value can only be automated by a incoming CC # event and it is not very easy or fun to use external CC # event sequencer utility like energyXT and it also sucks using options internally available in reaktor.
It would be good if you could have a spot in the Parameter Control window so you could pick a CC # and get a lane for it to control that instrument.
Also why not have a midiout contraption that you can make CC # automation lanes for too.
