Colour-coding contraptions

Perhaps it's already been mentioned, but one thing AM truly lacks is the ability to colour-code objects in the patcher. I often find myself with multiple groups of contraptions all lumped together and it becomes quite tiring to tell them apart.

I think it could be useful, but doesn't look good. I want the same feature for mixer Ins and Outs. Containers, in which you put your contraptions, would do a lot. Maybe a thin coloured line could look good in your case, though.

Another thing is related and varies the appearance of contraptions. It's also good for live usage : the gain contraptions should have a knob and a mute button in the patcher. The crossfader and the frosscader are more handy with a green bar as a slider and a main amplifier-knob along with the connected ones in the properties.

Colors can order contraptions AND their automationlanes. If you have grouped your contraptions by colors, you can filter the lanes by this attribute. Other attributes are "only volume and gain" lanes, "only mixer" lanes, "crossfader and gains"(sound manipulating) lanes, "pitch" lanes, all "sound generators", all "resonances and cutoffs", "all parameters of one contraption".

P.s. A drop box for persistent lanes would be great. You can drag any in there or to outside
