Useless on a high density display

I got a new laptop and basically Mulch is useless now. I've mucked with turning off scaling etc. (on Win 10) and it just doesn't help at all. I might be OK with an external monitor, but I've as good as lost the ability to use my fave app on the go, including in live settings. Very sad.

Anyone else been in the same position and figured something out? With scaling on, the contraptions are so tiny the patcher is hopeless. With scaling off, the contraptions are ok but the layouts in the properties pane are a shambles to the extent they're also unusable.

OK, downscaling the resolution to something more normal (default is 3200 x 1800) has actually made it work, at least after a reboot. I guess for now I'll have to move to being disciplined about whether I'm making music or e.g. on social media. May not be a bad thing!

I haven't had any problem both by moving from Win7 to Win10 and to Osx.
