Big hello from Vienna, Austria, Central Europe!
I am new here, but I've been watching AM since quite a while. After checking out plenty of audio software, I decided to give AM an other shot. My main goal is to find a good piece of software to use hand in hand with my main tool: VVVV. VVVV is excellent to do realtime visual stuff, it's good for motion tracking, connecting weird hardware and designing interactive installations. BUT it's verrrry bad with audio! Oh boy, it's sooo unbelievably bad, it's barely capable of beeping thru the speakers of my laptop...
It uses the same concept of programing like AM, so for VVVV guys AM is fairly easy to gasp. VVVV is also capable of generating Midi Data so it should be able to "play" AM, which is cool. Without having this tested, I guess it would work to use VVVV and AM on the same machine and connect them via Midi Yoke. Am I right?
Wouldn't it be even cooler to have AM and VVVV on two separate machines and conncet them via OSC? This wouldn't require complicated and slow Midi connections, simply a network cable. OSC would also be cool to use all those fency OSC tools on iPad etc. with AM.
Is there any chance to get OSC support for AM any time in the future?
