Hi,
I can not rename a patch when I use the Monopoly in Audiomulch. It just stays on "initial program". When I use the stand alone it works. Should the stand alone also be in the plug in folder? Now the VST is in the plug in folder but the stand alone is in the application folder.
Thanks,

Hi,

Hard to say what the problem is but it could be some kind of incompatibility with the plugin. We'll look into it for the next release. Can you be more specific about how you are trying to rename the patch and what happens? does it let you type in a new name?

Thanks

Ross.

Thanks for the quick response, Ross. The way it works and by the way this goes for the Monopoly, MS20, and M1is that in stand alone you work on a patch then name it then save it. I can't save or rename in AM. When I type in the new name in stand alone I then hit enter and then save. When I hit enter in AM it goes back to "initial program" and won't let me save. Of course while I can do my sound design in stand alone and then import to AM it does take a lot of the creative aspect out of AM.
I am controlling AM with the Midibass, preparing for live performances. In fact, Steve Chick suggested AM to me. While I am new to AM, I am excited by the possibilities because I have a background in modular synthesis and AM seems perfect. I just hope I can get around this roadblock. Are there any VSTs that you suggest that allow you to create and save in AM?

Thanks for the info. It's hard to say whether this is an AM issue or not. Usually the way VSTs work (in any host) is that they are always in edit mode and changing parameters changes the currently selected program. You can switch VST programs by right-clicking in the title area of the contraption area, one of the options in the popup menu is "VST Programs".

Most work. What you are describing sounds unusual.

Another option is to try storing AM presets instead of internal VST programs. This may not suit you but it's an idea.
