Re-sizing of automation lanes

Here is an example of a problem with auto mation lanes. I want to automate the frequency of a device. Particulatrly in the lower registers a small change in frequency results in a big perceived change but when looking at the automation lane it is difficult to see what is going on because the change is so small relative to the range of the lane.

Suggested solution: allow automation lanes to be re-sized so that automation curves can be more clearly seen when required.

you can already do this since like V1 i think. just select the bottom of the automation lane at far left and click and drag. wait for the cursor to become a little horizontal line with two arrows

ignatius, thanks I just tried this, I can move the lanes but what ever I do I can't get them to re-size. I am on windows 7, when the cursor is over the boundary between the two lanes it changes from 'I' into an arrow. So I try to clickand drag but it doesn't re-size :(

are you automating snapshots or parameters? lanes for snapshot automation won't resize but if you are drawing automation for parameters the cursor will turn into a horizontal bar with and up/down arrow when you cross it over the bottom of the lane at the left below the little red dot

I am automating parameters. I have now tried this on two machines and several audiomulch documents and it seems to be one particular document that is causing the problem...

Yes, if you have a particular document that has problems, please email it to rossb@audiomulch.com with a description of the bug. Thanks :)
