CsoundRB mod2.0 creation date: 7 jan 1995. CsoundRB-68000 and CsoundRB-881 are modified versions of the Macintosh Csound software synthesis language developed at MIT (the version that was in the beta directory at MIT in December 1993). The versions, running on any Macintosh and requiring a floating point coprocessor respectively, provide the ability to run the processing phase of Csound in the background under multifinder or system 7. ** Gen16 - CurveServer ** These versions of CsoundRB have a new gen routine - gen16 installed. This routine works in conjunction with CurveControl 0.2.96 and newer. It allows breakpoint curves edited with CurveControl to be loaded into Csound ftables. Check out the CurveControl distribution for more details. CurveControl is available via anonymous ftp: ftp://ftp.latrobe.edu.au/pub/music/CurveControl* Side Effects: As a result of the gen16 modification, you can no longer drag and drop .sco and .orc files onto the Csound application from the Finder. I have archived the versions of CsoundRB ( creation date: 13 feb 1994 ) that were previously available in this directory; Email me if you want/need them.
