Signing in doesn't return you to the forum

No idea how easy this is with drupal, but I think it's a pity that when you successfully sign in you're taken to your user account rather than wherever you were when you clicked "sign in".

I often read the forums without being signed in, then sign in when I want to comment. In this kind of situation I feel like it's not as easy as it should be to get back to the topic I was on.

Thread subscription notice is slow

I posted a new thread in the forum and subscribed to it. Someone replied, but it took like another 24 hours or so before I got the email notifying me. Not a big deal, but I wonder if there is a way to speed that up?

I think their are two many different forums

Hi Ross,

Having this many different forums really breaks up the sense of community. I suggest reducing the number and then adding more when you need them, if ever. I suspect that one reason why people use the mailing list instead of forums is the you get everything in one place, and you meet everyone who has posted whenever you download the list, which creates a sense of community. Ideally, the forums could serve to organize the messages, but not break up the sense of community.

Here's my suggestions:

Combine 'Music made with Audiomulch' and 'Performance...'
Combine Mac and PC plugins into one 'Plugins' forum
Combine 'Support...' and 'Bugs and Issues'

This is just off the top of my head.
