Sonicbirth is a great plugin development environment where you can make your own plugins in a way that's similar to the patching paradigm of Mulch itself. It includes several plugins, one of which is called 'Multiband Freeverb'. That may interest you.

I have an AU implementation of Freeverb, but that will not help you in Mulch until it supports AU.

I saw that, hadn't checked it out. It makes plugins that work with mulch on macosx? sweet!
