hi there
wouldn't it be great to have a linux version of amulch?
how far are we from that to ever happen?
with the proliferation of netbooks, tablets and other small devices, that would be great for gigs
what do you think?

As to keep this in the same topic, I have successfully installed/ran AudioMulch 2.1.1 in KXstudio(Ubuntu 10.04) with Wine 1.3. Great app Ross, thanks for the help.
My question is, I have a Korg NanoKey that is connected, but isn't showing up to AM, how can I get AM to reconize my MIDI device? My first thought is to install the Korg driver on the C: drive?
As reported elsewhere on these forums, you can run AM on Linux now. You just need to install the latest beta version of Wine to run AM2.
I've talked to a few people about making a native version of AM for Linux. Most people seem to think the Windows version runs well enough.
Right now I don't really have the resources to support another platform, and I'm not confident that sales on Linux would be sufficient to pay someone else to help out. That said, it is technically feasible and it could happen in the future.
Android or Chrome OS versions are also theoretically worth considering.
Ross.
