Hello Ross, mulchers,

Do you know how to have two instances of mulch with Mac OS X (10.6.2)?

Looks like I didn't succed yet.

Kind regards,

JM.

Hello JM

One option is to make a second copy of the AudioMulch app. Then you should be able to launch both at once.

I should warn you that there have been reports of the Preferences plist getting corrupted -- which I suspect may be due to exactly this situation of 2 copies running at once (possibly different versions) -- hopefully that will be fixed shortly.

Thank you Ross, I'll give it a try.

However, should I wait for the coming version if the corrupted preferences plist issue is solved?

Kind regards,

JM.

Hi JM

The current situation is that I havn't tracked down the cause of the plist corruption -- but multiple instances at once is one of the suspected causes. So it might not cause any problems, but it might. If you do try it, and you have complex audio device preferences it would be worth backing up the plist first.

Best wishes

Ross.

There is now a new 2.0.4 beta version which should resolve the plist issues. Please try it and post results in that topic -->

Thanks!
