Is there a way to change the automation lane labelling. I'm using Kore 2 in AM and it publishes its parameters as 'Kore2_1.(Page 36 Knob 1) for example! Now this is a short coming of Kore2 granted, but it would be great to be able to edit that text.
Any way?
Actually it's strange because in the Properties window in AM the parameters are labeled properly: SbMtFilter etc. Why doesn't AM pick this up?
The issue at present is that AM captures the property name when the plugin is first created. Plugins like Kore and Reaktor which change property names after the plugin is launched don't get refreshed. This is a known issue and I will probably try to improve the situation in the future.
The main problem is knowing when to update the parameter names -- VST plugins don't notify the host when the names change so AM has no way to know when to refresh them.
The reason it isn't an issue in the VST property editor is that it bypasses AM's built in-parameter name system and directly asks the plugin for the names. This is not so easy elsewhere in AM.
