Just installed snow leopard and now having problems with audiomulch.
-As Audiomulch is in play position, I'll be searching my database for a loop to play in loopplayer.
After I sampled a few sounds it suddenly stops the player and seems like its trying to load the loop. I close the window and press the play button and nothing. Try to close Audiomulch and nothing, hung up. Turn off the computer and try again.

I'm not loading down with effects, just starting a new project.
Same vsts.

Pretty sure it's snow leopard.

Thanks for reporting this Mike. Does it happen every time or just the once?

Ross.

Ross, this happens every time now.

It's as if I'm overloading the computer.

Never had this problem before.

Hi Mike

Are you using the "Auto Play" feature in the sound file selection dialog box? or are you manually pressing play/stop in that dialog?

I'm just trying to get a feel for exactly when the audio is freezing:
a) when you start to try to preview a sound file
b) when the preview stops
c) when you select the soundfile (with or without it playing)
d) at some other point

Any ideas?

Ross

Yes I am using the auto-play. Auto play is constantly on.

I'll be looking for a new soundfile in loopplayer 1, WHILE the loopplayer1 is playing a soundfile.

It freezes at a). when I start to preview a soundfile

After listening to a few soundfiles, maybe 10 or 12 in the "select sound file viewer" it freezes.

I have 2 gig of Ram, never a problem before.

Does changing the buffer help in this case.

I have no problem in Record or Cubase.

Thanks always for your time!

No one else has reported it (yet) but it sounds like some kind of bug in AM. I'll have a look and see what I can find.

It also has issues when the player is NOT playing while searching a sound-file.

Hi Mike

What about when audio is disabled in the main window (Speaker button on toolbar not down). Does it still crash when previewing sound files then?

Also, are these sound files which you previewed successfully in the past?

When the audio icon is turned off I have no problem previewing the sound files.

Yes, these are sounds I previewed before.
