receiving midi sync from external midi clock: how to mitigate time jitter that can confuse Mobius

Hello,

this is the very first time I am using AM  to be slave to outcoming midi clock.

I see that it can read incoming bpm with great precision and I have the feeling this can be generating some midi overflow.

In fact I can recognize a noticeable time drifting from Mobius, which is set to be synced to the host ( AM).

Is there a way to smooth this value ?

Hello,

It's very hard to say how to resolve this because I don't know how Mobius works.

But as far as "Is there a way to smooth this value?" the answer is: not beyond the smoothing that is already applied, which is quite a lot.

What are you using as a clock source?

The obvious fix is to use AM as the clock master.
