Looking for a solution to catch MIDI data from a single channel midi out drum VSTi (drumburst)and redirect the midi data for the bass kick to channel 1 and the midi data for the snare to channel 2, etc. ? I think midiox will do this but I am looking for a way to do this either with a vst or within mulch?

Note: Paradiddle that did work, but I was unable to post a followup on this forum. Thanks

Solved - using http://asseca.org/nicfit/mungrack.html MungRack ; very archaic at first but It clicked after the initial struggle ;)

I haven't tried it but this page has a midi note filter that only let's a specific note out. http://www.niallmoody.com/ndcplugs/ndcmidi.htm.

Then you use the midi channelizer from the same page to send it to whatever channel you want. I think this would work. PLug as many as need in parallel.

Let me know if this works out.

Drumburst is now running Junglist. - Thank G-d (  I have been looking for a drum solution for KVR One synth Challenges ( https://soundcloud.com/abovethoughts ) )

Simple and wonderful solution (I kinda failed at getting midimunger http://asseca.org/nicfit/mungrack.html to work, as it's a bit archaic kind of plug so I do appreiciate this suggestion.

Looking forward to representing Mulch at this month's Junglist KVR OSC ;)

Yes, worked great, you can hear the results at my soundcloud page (see my sig below); although one adjustement was neccessary to add midiconverter3 to supress program changes to junglist from drumburst. Thanks!

Yes, this did work nicely, hoewever when I changed Drumburst's preset it would cause junglist to change to that program number. I needed to then add midiconverter3 to block program changes, so my presets in junglist would not get changed.

I use Piz MIDI for my routing: http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=pizmidi
They have a good selection and a lot of flexibility. Try the "midiKeySplit4". One plugin that will send 4 regions (or notes) to different channels. As above, parallel for more.
