help file display

Sorry, if this is obvious but I could not find an answer. The helpfile menu is not showing up, any ideas how to fix this? I did not install version 2.0 before, just 2.0.2,...
I try to hook up my triggerfinger for some effect controls and am stuck. thanks

There have been some problems with the help system on Windows which have been resolved for the 2.0.3 update due out in a day or two (if you email me at rossb@audiomulch.com I can send you the release candidate). But your profile says you're on OSX... so I'd need some more information to help you: what do you mean "is not showing up?" is there an error message, or do you select help from the help menu and nothing happens?

Hi Rene.

You mean there is no "Help" menu in the top level menu bar? or nothing is displaying when you select the menu item?

What version of OSX are you using?

What happens if you press Command-Shift-1?

What about pressing the help button on the toolbar?

Hi Ross,

I am using 10.5.6 and neither command shift 1 nor directly selecting the helpfile works. If I am the only one who is facing this issue it might be that it it is related to some startvolume repair I had to do after installing. Also I have audiomulch routed into ableton via soundflower - maybe this is also related?
Anyway, I appreciate your fast support and I got my effects mapped due to the link you sent me. Wonderful programme!

Hi René

I'm sorry to keep asking, but I would like to work this out -- I need to understand exactly what you tried. Are you saying that the Help menu does appear in the menu bar, and you can select the "AudioMulch Help" menu item, but when you do, nothing happens? (please answer yes, or no :-)

No one else has reported the problem -- but that doesn't mean it isn't common.

Sorry for being so imprecise in the first place.

YES!

aka: it is listed in the menu but neither clicking on it nor the shortcut make it come up.

maybe really repair start volume related, i did not do a reinstall as audiomulch runs superfine and i read the helpfile on my windowslaptop...

René: when/if you install a new version (2.0.3 will be out soon) please let me know if you still have the same problem or if is fixed.

If anyone else encounters this problem on Mac please let me know -- at the moment I'm assuming this isn't a bug.

Hi,
I am also experiencing the same problem opening the help file.

I have tried opening the help file in version 2.02 and the recently updated 2.03. My operating system is OSX 10.6.1.
