I would like multiple metasurfaces so that different parameters can be independantly modulated.it would be great for live performance. Many thanks for the Mac port it has changed the way I work for the better.s

Thats INSANE

and a Master Metasurface to control all Metasurfae!?

unrivalled live/performance potential...its got my vote!

+1

The potential to expand what the metasurface can do/control is really quite mad!

Maybe allowing multiple X/Y controllers on the current surface?

maybe one metasurface would be enough,

if
- the parameter-definitions (check boxes on the right)
are saved per snapshot

- there were mod keys to force direction of connection
to vertical/horizontal

- number keys set max. connections

- you could also "manual connect" your desired snapshots,
no matter where they are on the surface. (mod key preferrably)

?

i've been wanting this feature for a while! I think it would be really great to be able to do this. for instance--one of my favorite things to do when performing is to use the metasurface to just control a small group of granulation contraptions. I can get great gestural sounds this way, all kinds of nuance--but once I have 20 different metasurface presets for the grains, it doesn't leave much room for other things! I would really love to just have "tabs" or some sort of buttons/keyboard shortcuts to flip through two or three metasurfaces.

I realise I'm resurrecting an old thread here, but a +1 of sorts for this idea.

I had the idea for a layered metasurface, so you can create additional surfaces that sit atop one another. New layers would be tabbed so you can switch between editing them, but master control is still a single XY coordinate. This would allow users to make metasurface layers for each effect (or chain), store them into their own layer and then mix and match various settings between layers allowing for much finer tuning of the control surface without having to constantly add/delete snapshots every time you find something you like.
