Mulit Outs on Drum Contraption would be a very nice addition. Even there were two versions of the Drum Contraption, The old and a new one. The multiple outs would let the user to controll the routing is each channel with the Matrix. then you can route and reoute through various effects. I can see where this would be great for live Improving (which is what i tend to do with AM at this time).

I emailed Ross with a few ideas after 2.0 was launched and this was one of them - he's hinted it's in the pipeline, which is fantastic! So much could be achieved with the new Drums contraption once this is in place.

I think one great option with the multiout drums contraption is to simply maintain a stereo mix out in output channels 1 & 2 and then have the additional individual outputs. This then gives you the option to use the contraption in myriad ways...

+1 from me too.

tis frustrating not being able to pan hits...and i prefer to use onboard everything compared to 3rd party vsts..
(a simple adsr on the individual channels would also be mint!)
Go for it Ross!

edit: 'abearsaysgrrr''s proposal of stereo out, PLUS individual outs is plain awesome sense! cool cool

it's a bit more screen real estate but you could do all of these things now. Just put one drum sound in each drum contraption, send it out to a Pmixer if you want to pan it, etc.

it's not ideal of course, but it works.

This is imho the way the original drums contraption was meant to be used anyway, not as a multi-sampled instrument but one drums contraption per drum sound, the different sample slot in the drums contraption is for velocity variation. Maybe it should have been called "drum" contraption from the beginning to make that clearer.

a bit off thread but still drums...be nice if there was a" step indicator" or "animated steps" to show where the beat is, as on any traditional step sequenced drum machine. like ive said elsewhere im still on v.1 so ignore me if its in v.2
