Controlling Audiomulch with Musicomlab EFX MK III+ Pedalboard Controller via MIDI?

Hi!

I'm trying to get my Musicomlab EFX MK III+ pedalboard controller to interact with AM via MIDI, but so far to no avail.

I've got the EFX MIDI-Out connected to an M-Audio Midiman, then USB to AM on a MacBook Pro.  My goal is to (hopefully) use the EFX presets for AM doucument switching and contraption parameter presets.

Yeah, if only it were that easy.  The EFX doesn't show up in AM, but the MIDIsport does, and AM is receiving a signal from the EFX when I use Quick-Map.

My problem now is I need a crash course in MIDI-101.  The EFX manual is weak in explaining it's MIDI functionality.

For starters:

I can set 5 "MIDI Program Changes" (whatever that means)

I am supposed to select a "MIDI Program Change" channel 1-5.  Then I am supposed to select a Program Change Channel Number, 1-16, then a Program Change Number 001-128. 

Not to mention the "MIDI Control Change" functionality...

Any thoughts on next steps, or a good resource for figuring out the MIDI side of things?
