Quantise midi note to next bar...

So I'm still after this function despite having tried everything I can think of.

Situation: Playing live I would like to change the audiomulch presets at the start of the upcoming bar via a single midi note, giving me freedom to hit the note then go back to playing more 'musical' things knowing that the presets will change at the 'correct' time.

Doing this via vst doesn't seem to be feasible because audiomulch won't respond to 'internal' midi signals. Which I think would mean having to use another program to route my midi through first which is able to do this?

Since AudioMulch 2.2 has MidiOut contraptions, if you can find a VST that will do it you could use a MIDI loopback device to route from AM's MidiOut back to an input.

There is a pending feature request to add MidiControlLoopback contraptions for this purpose.

In any case, a "change on next bar" function is something that could be generally useful. A few parameters already do this. It would be good to generalise it.

Ah ha! Of courrse. I think this as actually one of the things that got me so excited about 2.2 (but had forgotten in the months since I've last made any music).

Indeed. Do you have a list of everything that functions this way? IIRC it's only the drums/loopplayers maybe?

Plus Mute on the Arpeggiator. and the LiveLooper and CanonLooper can optionally sync record start/stop to bar boundaries. I think that's it right now.
