Hello,

Is there a way to assign the mute and record buttons of the Automation window?

I didn' find anything about this option in the manual

Thanks

Sure, just right click either Mute or the Record button and in the dropdown menu select "Automate."  You can automate practically anything this way.

Is that what you needed to know?

I think Alex is asking about the record and mute buttons at the left of each automation channel panel: being able to midi control muting and recording *automation*. If that's the question, the answer is no, at present it is not possible to control Automation recording and muting from MIDI.

Let me know if that answers the question,

Ross.

Thank you Ross, this is what i thought. It would be a great advance of AM if we can control anything by midi. Besides, I've got some crashes problems when I'm using the automation panel, and record a lot of automation.

Any ideas

Thanks

Alex

Thank you Ross, you answered my question. Maybe in the next versions this would be possible. I'd like to report you a bug with the automation panel, when i record a lot of automation AM crashes, especially when i zoom in or out, did you know about this bug.

Hello Alex

> when i record a lot of automation AM crashes, especially when i zoom in or out, did you know about this bug.

Please could you provide more information. What is the error that is displayed when the crash occurs?

There is a specific bug that has been reported (and that I am working on fixing): Occasionally when recording automation a "corrupt" automation point is recorded and this will then cause a crash when zooming. I am not sure if this is the bug you a reporting.

Thank you,

Ross.
