Excuse my naive question....but :

How can I play one of my outside VSTI in AUDIOMULCH

Knowing that some of my vsti are added in the audiomuclch plugings files on C://
That they appears in audiomulch...one loaded in the PATCHER and connected to sound out
While the setting of my mini usb keyboard is connected...

At the moment I can not play anything, no sounds comes out, and there is no piano roll with tickboxes to enter note, to make it play either...

All I can do at the moment with audiomuch, is to add effect to a sample looped on my music..

But I would like to create music with my own vsti ???

Is it possible in AUDIOMULCH....?

why is it always so difficult to have something to play music with as simple as VSTHOST http://www.hermannseib.com/english/vsthost.htm but better.....

I did like the possible of high masterising my sound in AUDIOMULCH and was ready to buy it...but if I can't simply create my music with my midi usb keyboard or with tickboxes to fill in the notes...and play my own vstI....what is the point of buying it.....as VSTHOST does the job as simple as that : PLUG and PLAY almost...

Or maybe I did not quite understand the purpose of AUDIOMULCH ???

So if you can light my candle, that'll be fine.... thanks

It's always annoying to have to read 200 pages of a PDF before to know how to create a sound in a sound machine...to my point of view.....If we can't gather at first sight how it works and can't make it work after a little time.....what's the point.....Music to me has to be instantaneous....I can't afford setting up every pieces of the engine under the bonnet of the car, before driving it.....if you see what I mean.????..

OK.......I finally gathered how we have to do, to make an outside vsti play with a usb KEYBOARD

We have to go first in : setting, of the ""edit menu""
choose MIDI n CONTROL.......select your keyboard, then validate ok....

after that go and....push the ENABLE MIDI button in the control barre

and the point that I had missed prior to my question above.....

we have to do another ops, together with the one above, that is :

go in the menu of the patcher....click + on "" input and output "" ...
then choose MIDIN1 in the menu and drag it on the main window of the patcher...then link
it to the vsti of our choice.....routed to sound out....

Then play the keeboard......and all is fine now, we can indeed create music with others vsti....added to AUDIOMULCH plugin file in c:// program files...on PC....

Must admitt that it is not an easy process at first glance....but that is due to the many possibles of audiomulch, in linking many devices.....) .Result....I will probably buy AUDIOMULCH......because I like it's possibles, quite simple to use, compared to others PC music wares.

Thanks, girls n guys, and sorry about my bit of temper shown above....but I am really fed up with "" musicware gaz factories "".....your audiomulch seems far away from these, of course provided we pass a little time on it, to get started...and audiomulch looks lite a really neatly done complexity solved for us as in the most simple way of uses.....when we really get to it....

Thanks to all (or the one) for the mecanistic hard work done under the bonnet to make it most simple to use for us naive users......I THINK I found my next music machine creator after VSTHOST.....I spended more than 8 years search on the net for one, to finally find audiomulch that may suit my way (with a bit of impatience n temper) in creating music.....

but you can relax on my music if you want.... http://www.yiking-music.com/ or maybe not ..... hihihihiiiiiii

Now the question is : how do I use all the presets in my non audiomulch vsti.....because at the time being...each time I use one of those, only one preset plays, and I have no clue on how to play the others..

The guy of the vsti does not appear no where to change them...and parameter function of AUDIOMULCH has so scares choicing to offer each time.....

And the volume input where do we lower it if needed.....no cursors under it ???

Hi There.
Glad to hear you are making progress. I recommend you ask each question in its own thread. The support/questions forum is a better place to ask such questions:
http://www.audiomulch.com/forum/5

> how do I use all the presets in my non audiomulch vsti.....

Right-click in the title area of the contraption area. Note that there are currently discussions about changing/improving support for VST presets. So far we are working on improving AM's internal preset system.

Thanks for the kind reply......but at the time being, I gave up on AM.....because of not being able to use outside VSTI and VST properly with AM.......Spending to much time (more than 3 hours) clicking this and there to have a simple sound out of it...it ain't my way of working....

I need easy and "" PLUG n PLAY as YOUR INTUITION go "" devices....

So for me it is back to the sublimissimo VSTHOST.......not very elaborated under the bonnet like AM....but very very quick to USE by its simple PLUG n PLAY.....** Load a vsti, load effect, route them to sound out, plug the piano usb, 1click in midi setting and off you go **.......and we can easyly link others together...including having 2 or 3 VSTHOST open in a same window.....

It record simply too and all the final job is done with AUDACITY and some other music creation secret toys.....

I can make an ALBUM per week with this method of work if I want...and INSPIRATION, the MUSE....does'nt go to someone else because she is fed up seeing me spend much brain juices in setting up a single track by thousand of clicks in hundred of menus.....and not PLAYING with HER while she 'is here....

Please don't let me be misanderstood....I do not say all this as bad criticism, I say this to explain my way of working (and I suppose that of most users not experts in computeur inside technos mecanics), to give you a hint on the way to a better AM....in the futur....because, as far as I can see.....AM has a lot of good potentials allready there...and I do like it.....like I like BIDULE of PLOGUE.....But the price of both, makes me think deeper as wether I want to invest in something....like these at the moment....knowing they are a wee bit more complex to use in my way of working..creating music...

Nevertheless...I'll keep an eye on the improvment of AM in a near futur....and will probably end up buying one some day, when I do have some spare money.....

Thanks a lot for all your hard work anyway.......I know it is not easy to make simple for the end users in that kind of MUSICAL PC WARE ( I can not).... and I appreciate those that try it anyway....Human creativ potentials amaze me often, when turned to PEACEFULL CREATIVE WORKS......

THANKS TO YOU ALL

I am afraid I don't understand your criticism. You suggest that you can't do this -> ** Load a vsti, load effect, route them to sound out, plug > the piano usb, 1click in midi setting and off you go ** <- in AudioMulch, but that's exactly how AudioMulch works. Could you please explain why you think AM is more complicated than that?

In any case, if that's *all* you want from your software, and you don't want to go deeper with sound design, then I agree, AudioMulch is probably not the software for you.

Thank you,

Ross.
