Sorry if this is a commonly repeated query.
I'm brand new, trial period.
My bassline 1 contraption appears quite a bit different from the one I see on tutorial # 3.
Sequencer selector buttons don't change color when clicked.
Etc.
Notes don't show up in note column ...
Thanks for any clarification here.

My guess is that the tutorial video shows Version 1 of AM and you're using Version 2, which has slightly a different look and feel. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't know Vers. 1 but my best is that anything that got changed is now improved. And Bassline is fairly intuitive. Have fun!

Hi Jef
Welcome :)
You mean this tutorial:
http://www.audiomulch.com/tutorials/beginners-tutorial-3-presets-and-automation
?

That's the version 2.0 Bassline. It was updated in AudioMulch 2.1 (yes, we should update the tutorial).

They should, but not to green as in the earlier version. They now change to darker grey wither with a white border (dark color scheme) or a darker border (light color scheme).

When you're too far zoomed out the note names don'e show up. You can zoom in on the pattern using the scroll bar or magnifying glass buttons at the bottom of the pattern editor.

Looks like you found a bug in the Mac version. It will be fixed. The problem seems to occur at the default zoom level: You need to zoom in slightly by grabbing and dragging the right edge of the horizontal scroll bar.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

Ross.
