Basically, I'm using Audiomulch as an incredibly complex effects peddle. I'm running my guitar through an INSPIRE 1394 firewire interface on a Macbook with a 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
I'm experiencing some severe latency, to the point where sometimes I have to play in front of the beat to keep my programmed drum/synth tracks aligned.
Can anyone suggest a better setup? I'd really like to be able to play live!

What buffer settings have you selected in the AudioMulch settings?
Is the problem that if you set lower latency in AM then you get glitches/drop outs?
Do you get better latency with built in audio?
