9/4/2003 AudioMulch 0.9b12 Release NotesAudioMulch version 0.9b12 is now available from the download page. This version will expire on July 10th, 2003. AudioMulch version 0.9b12 includes a new Document Switcher window which supports switching between up to 128 documents under MIDI control. A new Frosscader contraption can fade a stereo signal between two separate stereo outputs allowing the signal to be smoothly faded between multiple signal paths. This release incorporates a number of significant bug fixes including improved support for some ASIO drivers, fixed "Save copy with soundfiles" functionality, fixed VST Bank file saving, and better support for systems using large DPI font settings. Other changes made for this release include:
Bugs that have been fixed for this release are listed below.
Document SwitcherThe document switcher is a floating window that allows you to create a list of documents to switch between, either using the mouse, or under MIDI control. You can save this list of documents to a file called a "Document Set" and reload it later. The document switcher can be accessed from the view menu, from a button on the views toolbar, or by pressing F9. Full documentation for the document switcher is provided in the "Guide to the Document Switcher Window" topic in the AudioMulch help file. ASIO Control PanelWhen an ASIO device driver is selected in the Settings dialog it is now possible to display its control panel by clicking the Control Panel... button. Some sound card's ASIO control panels may allow adjustment of buffer size settings - AudioMulch does not automatically respond to these changes. In order for AudioMulch to accept such changes you will need to press the Reset Audio button in the Settings dialog.
